The Leon Springs Greenfest Planning Committee (LSGFPC) was formed last year due to the development that is encroaching on the historic Texas Hill Country. There is much development in our community…scenic views are being taken away and many new families are now calling Leon Springs home…by providing our families something to look forward to every year (tradition); we can retain our cultural and historical heritage and provide our children memories that can be cherished for a lifetime.

The Leon Springs Volunteer Fire Department and the Leon Springs Business Association are very active in the Leon Springs community and surrounding area, in terms of volunteering to save lives, the environment and educating the community on local quality of life issues.
